Once Upon A Quince Opportunity

As part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, city of Las Vegas residents ages 14-16 are invited to register to win participation in the Oct.10 community quinceañera. There is no cost to register or to participate in this fifth annual contest; limited to one submission per person. Registration is available through Aug. 16; click here to register. Fifteen winners who reside within Las Vegas city limits will be selected in a random drawing. Each winning quinceañera or quinceañero may invite 10 friends or family members to join them at the celebration.

The community quinceañera celebration will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave. The evening will include a mariachi performance and other entertainment, dinner for 11 for each winner, DJ music and dancing.
