Pre-K Early Education Program
I get a lot of questions about this so thought I would include it with the play places. The Strong Start Go Mobile Pre-K Academy is a valuable local resource. They offer an affordable, high-quality early education program. The half-day pre-k classes along with family engagement workshops and activities are located near Lake Mead Boulevard and J Street and Mojave Road and Washington Avenue.
Children living in or near 89106, 89107, 89101 can attend for free. Four locations include:
- Lake Mead and J Street (West location)
- Mojave and Washington (East location)
- Alta and Jones(Red Rock location)
- Jefferson and C Street (Historic Westside location)

Mojave Springs School – Currently only conducting online classes. Inspired by Waldorf Early Childhood Program, each child learns through imitation and imaginative play. This develops a sense of wonder and reverence for the world around them.
Preschool Play Places
Kangamoo – Great place to play and meetup for families with preschoolers. The healthy cafe serves up yummy, nutritious snacks (VKZ approved!) and there is a comfy place for parents to catch up while kids run wild, and safe.
LOL Kids Club – Tons of tumbling and places to play throughout the safe space setup for toddlers and preschool kids!
