I have followed Justyn Boumah since he wrote his first book! I finally caught up to him to ask a few questions. He has been to 4 continents, 8 countries, and more than 18 cities in his 7 years. At age 4, he and his family created The Traveling Toddler to support his many interests, from author to baker and philanthropist.
CEO at 16
I met then-16-year-old Arushi Chamaria at a recent VKZ event and was immediately impressed with her leadership skills and passion for education and helping others. I asked the teen entrepreneur who has quite the resume already to share a little about her thoughts on leadership and volunteering while she helped run a local education resource, The Sapience.
Running A Business at 12
At the age of 8, the idea for her own business began and by age 12 Kumei started her own business, Tofu Tees. She runs the successful business with her family, creating T-shirts, totes and masks emblazoned with “Racism Is Trash,” “I Love Unicorns, Slime & Equality,” and other simple statements that pack a punch.
Cystic Fibrosis Fuels Teen Ambassador
Helping others through volunteering, emceeing, granting wishes and flying through track practice are a small part of this charming teen’s big efforts and contributions to the community. Born with cystic fibrosis, Connor Shriever rises two hours before school for treatments that loosen the mucus in his lungs, which allows him to do all he does as an active teenager, community volunteer and ambassador for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
