The event ends promptly at noon. Late arrivals may miss scheduled content stations, so please plan accordingly.
What to Expect
During the morning, participants will rotate through several guided content experiences, which may include:
- Professional business and lifestyle photography
- Styled desk, couch and coffee settings
- Talking-head videos recorded on your phone
- Seasonal B-roll for October through New Year’s
- Business testimonial exchanges
- Social-media prompts and on-camera guidance
- Hair and makeup touch-ups
- Coffee, light bites and networking
This is a collaborative content experience. Come ready to participate, share ideas and help other business owners look good, too!
What to Bring
Please bring:
- A fully charged phone
- Your phone charger or portable battery
- Enough available storage for new videos
- One or two outfit options
- Your preferred makeup and hair products for touch-ups
- Products, tools or props that help tell your business story
- Your logo, brand colors and social-media handles
- Any fall, holiday or New Year items you would like to use
- A short explanation of what your business does and who you serve
- Water and anything else you need to feel comfortable
What to Wear
Choose clothing that represents how you want clients to see you.
We recommend:
- Solid colors or subtle patterns
- Clothing that coordinates with your brand
- One professional look and one more relaxed option
- Clean shoes, since some photographs may be full length
- Minimal clothing with very small stripes, busy prints or large unrelated logos
Please arrive camera-ready. Hair and makeup services are intended for light touch-ups, not complete styling or full makeup application.
A private or designated changing area will be available for quick outfit changes.
Prepare Your Talking Points
Before arriving, think about how you would answer:
- Who do you help?
- What problem does your business solve?
- What makes your approach different?
- What do you wish more people understood about your work?
- What should someone do next if they want to work with you?
You do not need to memorize a script. Our content partner will help you shape your message and feel more comfortable on camera.
Your Video Content
Guided talking-head videos and B-roll will primarily be recorded on your own phone. This allows you to leave with immediate access to your content.
Please clean your phone’s camera lens before arriving and make sure you have enough storage space.
Professional editing, caption writing, scheduling and ongoing social-media management are not included unless specifically stated. Participating creative partners may offer optional services directly.
Professional Photography
Professional photographers will create images using styled sets and business-focused scenes.
Information about image selection, editing and delivery will be provided at the event. Additional images, private galleries or future branding sessions may be available directly through the photographers.
Please credit and tag the photographer when using professional images online.
Business Testimonials
Participants will have an opportunity to record short testimonials about other businesses they genuinely know, experience or connect with during the event.
No one will be asked to provide a false endorsement. Testimonials should be honest, specific and based on an authentic interaction.
Vegas Family Insider Feature
Participating businesses may be considered for the Behind the Business: Local People Families Should Know group feature in Vegas Family Insider.
All magazine content is subject to available space, editorial review and publication deadlines. Expanded spotlights, hosted editorial features and advertising options may be available separately.
Parking and Arrival

Please do not block neighboring businesses, loading areas or reserved spaces.
Ticket Policies
- Registration covers one business and one participating representative.
- Advance registration is required.
- Tickets are nonrefundable.
- Participation cannot be transferred without prior approval from Vegas Family Insider.
- Participants are responsible for arriving on time and bringing the items needed to create their content.
- Specific images, publication placement, business leads, sales and social-media results are not guaranteed.
- Participants must have permission to use any logos, products, music, props or other materials they bring.
Photography and Media Release
Photography and video recording will take place throughout the event. Participants will be asked to complete a media release allowing Vegas Family Insider to use event images and footage for editorial, promotional and social-media purposes.
